<p><em>If you’re craving a cozy, nourishing bowl that checks all the boxes for flavor and fuel, this one’s for you. These hot honey sweet potato ground beef bowls are the perfect balance of sweet, savory, creamy, and just a little spicy.</em></p>



<p>If you’ve been scrolling lately, you’ve probably seen some version of these viral sweet potato ground beef bowls popping up everywhere. And for good reason. They’re easy, satisfying, and endlessly customizable. This is my take on the trend, with a Mexican street corn twist!</p>

<li>Bring a large pot of water to a boil for the pasta.</li>



<li>In a large deep pan over medium to medium high heat, add the 1 tbsp olive oil.</li>



<li>Add the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks, and brown evenly.</li>



<li>Stir in the diced onion and garlic and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until fragrant.</li>



<li>Add Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, pepper <a href="https://get.aspr.app/SH19Ja">broth</a>, and ghee. Bring to a gentle boil.</li>



<li>While that&#8217;s happening, cook the pasta according to package instructions.</li>



<li>Reduce heat and simmer the beef mixture for about 5-10 minutes.</li>



<li>Drain and rinse the cooked pasta.</li>



<li>Stir the milk, Parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes into the beef mixture.</li>



<li>Add the cooked pasta directly to the sauce and stir until evenly coated. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.</li>



<li>For a thicker sauce, whisk together 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 1 tablespoon water and slowly stir it into the pan. Remove from heat.</li>



<li>Serve immediately and enjoy!</li>

<li class="">Preheat your oven to 325°F.</li>



<li class="">Warm a Dutch oven over medium to medium/high heat and add the olive oil.</li>



<li class="">Season the roast generously with salt and pepper, then sear for about 4 minutes per side until browned. Set aside on a plate.</li>



<li class="">Add the ghee, followed by the sliced onions. Cook 5 to 7 minutes until softened.</li>



<li class="">Stir in the garlic and cook 1 to 2 minutes more.</li>



<li class="">Pour in the apple cider, beef broth, apple cider vinegar, and Dijon. Scrape the bottom of the pot to release any browned bits.</li>



<li class="">Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.</li>



<li class="">Return the roast to the center of the pot and add rosemary, thyme, and bay leaves.</li>

<li class="">In a large glass measuring cup, whisk together the beef broth, tomato paste, balsamic vinegar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, honey, coconut sugar, Dijon mustard, rosemary, parsley, thyme, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.</li>



<li class="">Season the beef roast generously with salt and pepper. Place it in the crockpot and spread the minced garlic over the top.</li>



<li class="">Add the sliced onions, then pour the prepared balsamic sauce over everything.</li>

<li class=""><strong>½ cup Parmesan cheese</strong> (freshly grated)</li>



<li class=""><strong>Ricotta cheese</strong> (for serving)</li>



<li class=""><strong>Fresh basil</strong> (for garnish)<br>💡 <em>Tip:</em> I always buy <strong>blocks of cheese</strong> and grate them myself. Pre-shredded cheese often contains cellulose and additives to prevent clumping — and that can affect both texture and flavor. Freshly grated makes it creamier and melts perfectly!</li>

<li class=""><strong>Brown the Beef:</strong> In a large pan, add the ground beef and brown it for 2–3 minutes. Add garlic, salt, and pepper to taste, then stir in the onion. Continue cooking for a few more minutes until the beef is mostly browned (it’s okay if there’s still a little pink. It will finish cooking in the crock pot).</li>



<li class=""><strong>Build the Base:</strong> Transfer the meat mixture to your slow cooker. Add in diced tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, and all the dried herbs. Stir until everything is well combined.</li>



<li class=""><strong>Let It Simmer:</strong> Set your Crockpot to <strong>low</strong> and cook for <strong>6 hours</strong>.</li>



<li class=""><strong>Add the Noodles:</strong> After 5 hours, break your Jovial gluten-free lasagna noodles into smaller pieces and stir them into the soup. Put the lid back on and let it cook for the final hour.</li>



<li class=""><strong>Add the Cheese:</strong> With 30 minutes left, stir in the freshly grated mozzarella and Parmesan. Let it melt into the soup for that perfectly cheesy, lasagna-style goodness.</li>



<li class=""><strong>Serve &amp; Garnish:</strong> When cooking time is up, ladle the soup into bowls and top with a scoop of ricotta and some fresh basil.</li>
