Thank you Katie! These are better than expected. The combo lemon zest / almond is so delicious!
The quantities are right (yes, 4 1/2 cups of almond flour), and the muffins are zesty, moist and just sweet enough.
We added some sliced almonds on top before baking, which add a little texture, instead of the glaze.
Quick note: maybe I'm slow but I would preheat the oven only when I'm about to divide the batter among the 12 liners.

These are really delicious! The texture is great and I’m finding them pretty addicting. I did not have poppy seeds so I used chia seeds and that worked great. I will say the glaze lends the most lemon flavor so i’d you’re planning to skip that you might want a bit more zest in the muffin itself. But these are great and I will make them again!

Hi Jan. I would double check your measurements because no one or myself have ever had any issues with the quantities!

These lemon poppy seed muffins are absolutely fantastic! My whole family loves them. They have the perfect bright lemon flavor and are wonderfully moist. Every bite is delicious — not too sweet, just fresh and satisfying. Definitely a new favorite in our house!
