Ingredients

  • Brussels Sprouts - Could have guessed that one right? I used two pounds of fresh brussels sprouts, cut into halves. I wouldn't recommend using frozen - I have never been a fan of frozen brussels!
  • Garlic -2 teaspoons of minced garlic
  • Bacon - Feel free to use any bacon or cured meat of choice. I did use regular bacon in this recipe.
  • Heavy Cream - You will need 1 cup of heavy whipping cream to make your sauce.
  • Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, & Salt - 1 teaspoon of each or to taste.
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese - I used 2 ounces (about 1/4 cup) or shredded mozzarella cheese to top this dish off.

How To Make It

  1. Heat a large deep skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the bacon to the skillet and cook until crispy. Set aside and chop into small pieces. Leave leftover bacon grease in the pan.
  3. Add the brussels sprouts, garlic and salt to your pan and cook for 10 minutes.
  4. While Brussels sprouts cook, mix together the heavy cream, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  5. When the brussels sprouts are done, turn off the heat and pour the heavy cream mixture over them.
  6. Add the bacon and stir until fully incorporated. Top with the shredded mozzarella cheese and place the lid on the skillet. Let the cheese melt.
  7. Serve and enjoy!!

How To Store Leftovers

You can store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days in the fridge with whichever meal you cook with these! These surprisingly reheat very well and keep their crunch!

My favorite storage containers are by the brand Razab. All of their containers are BPA free, oven safe, freezer safe, dishwasher save, and have steam release valves! You can find them on Amazon here.
