Mini Lime Mousse Desserts

These Mini Lime Mousse Desserts are my favorite light and refreshing sweets! There is no added sugar and they are low carb! They have the perfect amount or tartness & sweetness.

You could also make this recipe, put it in a large bowl, and make it a dip with your favorite fruit! I think this would be such a fun, sweet, but healthier appetizer/snack option!

Ingredients

  • Heavy Whipping Cream - 1 cup of heavy whipping cream.
  • Lime Juice - 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice.
  • Cream Cheese - 4 ounces of low fat cream cheese.
  • Cool Whip - 4 tablespoons of sugar free cool whip.
  • Swerve - 2 tablespoons of confectioner's Swerve, or zero calorie sweetener of choice.
  • Lime Zest - Lime zest of 1 lime (or a little more if you like a lot like me!!)

How To Make Them

  1. In a small mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream with a handheld mixer until stiff peaks develop. Set aside.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese, lime juice, sugar free whipped cream, and lime zest together until creamy. Gently blend the heavy whipping cream in.
  3. Divide into 8 dessert cups and enjoy!

** This recipe makes approximately 3 cups of lime mousse. I divided mine into 8 servings, about 3/8 cup servings. Macros below are per serving.

How To Store Leftovers

You can store your leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 6 days. When you are ready to enjoy them again, just pop them in the microwave for 10 seconds or so. You can also keep these out on the counter in a cool, dry place.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 4 oz low fat cream cheese (softened)
  • 4 tbsp sugar free cool whip
  • 2 tbsp Confectioner's Swerve (or powdered sugar substitute of choice)
  • Zest of 1 lime
Instructions
