Protein Dessert Quesadillas With Homemade Nutella

These High Protein Dessert Quesadillas have been my go-to quick & easy dessert in my household lately. They are extremely customizable. My favorite way to have these is with my high protein homemade Nutella, strawberries, and bananas. I use the Rise and Puff Organic Tortillas, which I LOVE! The ingredients are so clean. What You Will Need

Small batch protein Nutella:

  • 2 tbsp. creamy hazelnut butter (be sure it’s plain with no sugar or anything added) - I use the brand Prozis - Code "KATIE10" for a discount!
  • 1/4 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 20g protein powder (vanilla or unsweetened - I use the brand Prozis)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Dessert Quesadilla Ingredients:

  • 2 tortillas - I used the Rise and Puff Organic Tortillas - Code COOKINGKATIELADY10 for a discount!
  • 4-5 large strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 small banana, sliced

How To Make Them

  1. Combine the protein Nutella ingredients in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. Make 1 slit from the middle of each tortilla to the edge.
  3. Spread the Nutella onto two of the corners of each tortilla. Place your fruit evenly distributed between the other two.
  4. Fold each corner up over another until you have a quarter moon shape.
  5. Cook for about 3-4 minutes each side on a pan over medium heat & immediately dig in!!

How To Store Them

Store your leftovers in an air tight container in the fridge. Zap them in the microwave for about 30 seconds to reheat! I have never had leftovers with this recipe, since it only makes 2 and they are so good that leftovers don't stand a chance!
