What You Will Need

  • 1/2 cup rolled old fashioned oats
  • 30g protein powder (chocolate or unflavored)
  • 1 tbsp monk fruit, or sweetener of choice
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or oat)

How To Make It

  1. Blend the oats in a small blender until you have oat flour.
  2. Mix together all ingredients except for the chocolate chips and granola butter in a small bowl.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips. Place 1/2 the batter into a ramekin (mine is 10 oz).
  4. Next, place the granola butter in the center of the batter you poured. Top with the remaining batter.
  5. Microwave for 1 minute & enjoy!

What if I just Want to Make 1 Serving?

If you want to make this a single serving mug cake, you can half this recipe and microwave it in a mug for about 30 to 45 seconds.

  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 1 dash salt (just a pinch)
  • 1 cup almond milk (unsweetened)
