Sugar Free Candied Pecans

Candied Pecans are one of the easiest yet delicious holiday treats! I honestly make them year-round not going to lie, but I make extra during the holidays!! I have mastered the perfect, minimal ingredient sugar free version so you will have zero guilt eating these. They are great as a dessert or for snacking! Ingredients

  • Pecans - 1 1/4 cup of plain, unsalted pecan halves.
  • Sweetener - 1/2 cup of granular swerve, monk fruit, or zero calorie sugar substitute of choice.
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 tablespoon of ground cinnamon.
  • Nutmeg - Just a dash!
  • Vanilla Extract - 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  • Egg Whites - 1 1/2 tablespoons of egg whites.
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon.

How To Make Them

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F. Line a medium sized baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg whites, & vanilla extract until frothy.
  3. Add the pecans to the egg white mixture and stir until they are well coated.
  4. Next, add in the granular Swerve, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until fully coated.
  5. Spread the coated pecans out on your prepared baking sheet into a single layer, making sure they are not overlapping each other.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes, flipping every 15 minutes. Enjoy!

How Do I Store Leftovers?

You can store leftovers in an air tight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. These are so good I guarantee you won't have these for very long though haha!
