What You Will Need
For The Meatloaves
2 lbs. 85% lean ground turkey
2 eggs (organic, large)
1/2 yellow onion (medium)
1 tsp minced garlic
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
2 tsp parsley
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp pepper
1/2 cup organic almond flour
For The Balsamic Sauce
Sugar Free Ketchup - 9 tablespoons of sugar free ketchup, which is just over 1/2 a cup.
Balsamic Vinegar - 8 teaspoons of balsamic vinegar. This sauce is so simple but one of my favorites!
How To Make Them
Preheat oven to 425°F. Spray a large baking sheet with olive or avocado oil.
Combine the ketchup and balsamic vinegar for the sauce and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, eggs, onion, garlic, almond flour, parmesan cheese, and spices until fully incorporated. I find it easiest to just use my hands!
Divide into 8 evenly sized patties and line on your baking sheet.
Brush your balsamic sauce over the tops of each meat loaf using a silicone brush.
Store your mini meatloaves in an air tight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. When I rehear my meatloaves, I always add a little bit of additional sugar free ketchup on top because I fee that the meatloaves soak a lot of the sauce up when they are sitting in the fridge!
Protein is nutrient-rich, so it helps you stay fuller longer. You are more likely to eat less when you have high protein meals because you won’t have the munchies!
It boosts your metabolism & increases fat burning.
It increases muscles & strength. If you are lifting weights and not eating enough protein, you aren;t going to see much of a difference!
