No Bake Protein Twix Bars

These healthy, No Bake Protein Twix Bars are such a great alternative to candy to fix that sweet tooth while also getting some extra protein in! There are 6 grams of protein per Twix bar and they are only 100 calories! They have no added sugar and are also gluten free! No one will believe you when you tell them that these candy bars are healthy let me tell you! They are so quick & easy and require very basic, minimal ingredients. What You Will Need

For the Caramel:

For the Cookie Base:

  • 2 tbsp. organic coconut oil
  • 60g protein - I use the Prozis natural vanilla
  • 1/4 cup organic almond flour
  • 1/2 cup organic oat flour
  • 2 tbsp. sugar free maple syrup
  • Pinch of salt

For the Coating:

  • 1/2 tsp. organic coconut oil
  • 100g sugar free dark chocolate chips - I use Lily's or Hu Chocolate.

How To Make Them

  1. Combine the cookie base ingredients and press into a 9x9 silicone baking dish. Place in freezer while you make your caramel filling.
  2. Blend caramel filling ingredients in a food processor. Spread caramel over your cookie base. Place in freezer for 20 minutes to set.
  3. Cut into 12 bars. Melt chocolate with 1/2 tsp coconut oil. Dip each Twix bar in the chocolate then place in fridge until chocolate is set. Enjoy! Store leftovers in fridge.

How To Store Them

Store your leftover key lime pie bars in an air tight container in the freezer. Allow them to thaw for 15 minutes or so before you eat them again to get the perfect texture!

  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup oat flour
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup (sugar free)
  • sea salt (to taste)
  • For the Caramel
  • 1 cup dates (pitted medjool)
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 2-3 tbsp water
  • For the Coating
  • 1/2 tsp coconut oil
  • 100 g dark chocolate chips (sugar free)
