avocado fries

These Air Fryer Avocado Fries are so easy to make, low carb, and full of protein! Put these in the air fryer for 5 minutes and voila! One serving of avocado fries only has 2 grams of net carbs and 7 grams of protein. I keep these guys low carb by using the Whisps Cheese Crumbs as my bread crumb replacement! I hope you give this recipe a try and love them as much as I do!

Reasons to Love These Avocado Fries

  • Quick & Easy: These only take 5 minutes to cook in the air fryer!
  • Nutritious: Avocados are so good for you! Avocados are a source of vitamins C, E, K, and B6. Avocados contain high levels of healthy fats, which can help a person feel fuller between meals! The cheese crumbs keep these low carb and add lots of protein.

Ingredients

  • Avocados - Easy guess right? You will need 3 medium avocados. Make sure they aren’t too mushy or you won’t be able to cut solid fries!
  • Cheese Crumbs - 1/3 cup of the Italian Herb Cheese Crumbs by Whisk. These are my go-to low carb bread crumb alternative! You can use your preferred low carb bread alternative of course as well!
  • Egg Whites - 6 tablespoons of liquid egg whites.
  • Protein - 15 grams of unflavored protein powder - Mine is by the brand Prozis. You can use the code KATIE10 for 10% off on their entire site!

How To Store Leftovers

These are best served fresh, but you can store your leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up 3 days. Reheat them in your air fryer or oven at 325°F for the best results! They will be mushy if you reheat them in the microwave.

My favorite storage containers are by the brand Razab. I have done some fun giveaways with them in the past and truly love their dishes so much. All of their containers are BPA free, oven safe, freezer safe, dishwasher save, and have steam release valves! You can find them on Amazon here if you want to check them out.

My Silicone Air Fryer Basket

I get asked about this all the time! My air fryer basket is by the brand Wavelu, which you can find on Amazon! They are extremely affordable and I love them because it makes cleaning your air fryer effortless!
