Healthy Pimento Cheese

Pimento cheese, a beloved Southern classic, is making a resurgence in kitchens everywhere. Known for its creamy texture and tangy flavor, this versatile spread can be enjoyed in countless ways – from sandwiches to dips and even as a topping for burgers. While traditional recipes often lean heavy on mayonnaise and cream cheese, I've crafted a healthier version that doesn't compromise on taste & gives you a guilt-free indulgence.

What You Will Need

  • 1 cup organic, THICK Greek yogurt. Make sure it is thick or your dip will be watery.
  • 1 1/2 cups organic, freshly grated cheddar cheese.
  • 4 oz. jar of pimento peppers, drained and finely chopped.
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 jalapeno, finely chopped. Or more if you like spice!!

How To Make It

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl or serving dish. Mix thoroughly.
  2. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes for the flavors to settle in. Enjoy!

How To Store Leftovers
