Buffalo Chicken Dip

This Buffalo Chicken Dip is creamy, tangy, and packed with protein! It's loaded with chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, & Greek yogurt. This dip is so easy to make and requires very minimal ingredients!

What You Will Need

  • Cooked Shredded Chicken Breasts - 1 pound of cooked & shredded chicken breasts. I get mine precooked and shredded from my Trifecta meal prep plan.
  • Greek Yogurt - For added protein and creaminess. This is my healthy substitute for sour cream. You will need 2/3 cup.
  • Buffalo Sauce - 2/3 cup of your favorite buffalo sauce. My favorite healthy option is Primal Kitchen.
  • Cream Cheese - 8 ounces of organic cream cheese, softened
  • Green Onions - 2 large green onions, diced thinly (whites only)
  • Cheddar Cheese - 1 cup of organic, freshly grated cheddar cheese
  • Garlic Powder - 1 teaspoon

How To Make It

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mix all ingredients together until fully incorporated and creamy.
  3. Pour the buffalo chicken dip into a medium round glass baking dish such as this one and bake for 20 minutes.
  4. Serve with your favorite veggies, crackers, chips, etc. and enjoy!

How To Store It

Store this dip in an air tight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. To reheat it, place individual servings in the microwave in 30 second increments. If you keep your dip in the original dish that you baked it in, you can also reheat it in the oven at 350 F for 10 minutes.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb chicken (cooked & shredded)
  • cup Greek yogurt (plain, nonfat)
  • cup buffalo sauce
  • 8 oz cream cheese (low fat, softened)
  • 2 green onions (whites only, diced finely)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, green onions, garlic powder, and shredded cheddar cheese with a hand mixer until creamy.

  3. Fold in the shredded chicken until fully incorporated into the buffalo cream cheese mixture.

  4. Pour the buffalo chicken dip into a medium round glass baking dish such as this one and bake for 20 minutes.

  5. Serve with your favorite veggies, crackers, chips, etc. and enjoy!
