These Pumpkin Spice Protein Donut Holes are full of Fall flavors and have a cream cheese filling that is to die for! My secret ingredient is the limited edition protein pumpkin spice pancake mix by Flourish Pancakes! I love this mix because it is made with whole wheat flour, flaxseeds, and whey protein. There are 23 grams of protein per serving and 7 grams of fiber as well. If you want to check them out, you can use the discount code KATIE10 for 10% off on their site! These donut holes are so quick and easy to make and only need 8 minutes in the oven. I hope you give this recipe a try and love it as much as I do!

Reasons to Love These Donut Holes

  • Quick & Easy: This soup is so easy to make and requires very basic ingredients that you probably already have at home.
  • Macros/Nutritious: These donut holes are only 45 calories each, sugar free, and have 4 grams of protein. You can definitely eat these in bulk if you want with zero guilt!!

Nutritional Benefits

  • Flourish Protein Pancake Mix: I touched on this above, but I love the Flourish protein pancake mixed because they are low calorie, high protein, and made with flax seeds & whole wheat flour.
  • Greek Yogurt: Almond flour is my go-to low carb flour for binding my meatballs together. Almonds are high in fat, but it is unsaturated fat. This type of fat is good and does not raise those “bad” cholesterol levels. It is rich in Vitamin E, which is an antioxidant as well.

Ingredients

  • Pumpkin Spice Protein Pancake Mix – 3/4 cup of your favorite pumpkin spice flavored protein pancake mix. I used the Flourish Pancakes mix. You can use the code KATIE10 for 10% off!
  • Greek Yogurt – 1/2 cup of plain, nonfat Greek yogurt.
  • Cream Cheese – 3 1/2 teaspoons of low fat cream cheese.
  • Cinnamon Coating – Mix of cinnamon and a zero calorie sugar substitute for the coating (optional)

How To Make It

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, pancake mix, cinnamon, and swerve together until a dough is formed.
  3. Roll out 7 balls of dough and make an indentation in the center of each. I used a cookie scoop to get them evenly sized.
  4. Place low fat cream cheese in the center of each ball and pinch the tops to close.
  5. Bake for 8 minutes.
  6. Roll the warm donuts in the cinnamon sugar mixture until all sides are covered, if desired. Enjoy!

How To Store Leftovers

You can store your leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. When you are ready to enjoy them again, just pop them in the microwave for 30 seconds or so!

My favorite storage containers are by the brand Razab. I have done some fun giveaways with them in the past and truly love their dishes so much. All of their containers are BPA free, oven safe, freezer safe, dishwasher save, and have steam release valves! You can find them on Amazon here if you want to check them out.
