edible cookie dough pinit

I am one of those people that loves cookie dough more than cookies. I would ALWAYS eat just the dough when my mom would buy those Pillsbury ready to bake sheets of cookie dough! Shh don’t tell anyone! I have mastered the PERFECT healthy low carb & sugar free edible cookie dough! There are only 7 grams of net carbs per serving with 7 grams of protein! Cookie dough doesn’t get any better than that! You will not regret making this recipe. It is fool proof, I promise!

Reasons to Love This Cookie Dough

  • Quick & Easy: This is the ultimate quick & easy dessert and requires NO BAKING!!
  • Macros: I mean come on…for cookie dough? You can’t buy low carb healthy cookie dough ANYWHERE!

Want to Bake into Cookies?

You can totally do so by adding some baking soda! The full recipe on how you can bake them can be found here.

Ingredients

  • Almond Flour – 2 cups of fine almond flour. My favorite is by the brand Prozis. You can use the code KATIE10 for 10% off as well!
  • Maple Syrup – 1/3 cup of sugar free maple syrup, or liquid sweetener of choice. I use the brand Lakanto, which you can find on Amazon. I use this one because there is no artificial sweeteners in it and it is made with monk fruit!
  • Chocolate Chips – 67 grams of Lily’s sugar free dark chocolate chips, or your favorite chocolate chips! These are naturally sweetened with stevia & low carb so that is why I prefer them!
  • Sea Salt – 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt, or 1/4 regular salt if you do not have sea salt.
  • Vanilla – 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  • Coconut Oil – 1 tablespoon of melted coconut oil.
  • Greek Yogurt – 2 1/2 tablespoons of plain, nonfat Greek yogurt.

How To Make It

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together all of the dry ingredients until fully incorporated.
  2. Add the wet ingredients and mix with an electric mixer just until fully incorporated. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  3. Serve in mini dessert dishes and enjoy! I split mine into 8 evenly sized servings.

How To Store Leftovers

You can store your leftover edible cookie dough in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. It could probably go even longer if your leftovers stand a chance!

My favorite storage containers are by the brand Razab. I have done some fun giveaways with them in the past and truly love their dishes so much. All of their containers are BPA free, oven safe, freezer safe, dishwasher save, and have steam release valves! You can find them on Amazon here if you want to check them out.
