Ingredients
- Balsamic Vinegar – 1/3 cup of balsamic vinegar.
- Olive Oil – 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil.
- Water – 1/4 cup.
- Stone Ground Mustard– 1/2 teaspoon of stone ground mustard, or your preferred mustard.
- Garlic– 1 teaspoon of minced garlic.
- Salt & Pepper – To taste.
I have not bought one container of dressing since I started making my own. They are so easy to make and save you money! My favorite part about making my own salad dressings is knowing exactly what is going into my dressing. You avoid so much sugar, additives, gums, thickeners, preservatives, etc. The amount of calories in just one tablespoon of your typical salad dressing you pick up at the store blows my mind.
How To Make It
- Add all ingredients to a small blender, such as a Blend Jet 2 or Nutribullet.
- Blend for 2-3 cycles, or until fully incorporated and enjoy!
Optional Add In
I know what you are about to ask…what about the anchovies? I am personally not a huge fan of anchovies but if you like them add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of anchovy paste to your dressing!
