What You Will Need
- Almond Butter – 1/2 cup of smooth almond butter. For this recipe, I used the crunchy almond butter by prozis. Use the code KATIE10 for 10% off!
- Chocolate Protein Powder – 40 grams of choccolate protein powder. I used the Prozis Organic Velvet Chocolate Protein Powder. Use that same code KATIE10 for a discount!
- Cocoa Powder – I used 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder. Make sure it is unsweetened!
- Maple Syrup – 1/4 cup sugar free maple syrup. I use the brand Lakanto because it is sweetened with monk fruit,
For the Topping (Optional)
- Dark Chocolate – Melted sugar free dark chocolate chips. I use Lily’s sugar free dark chocolate chips.
- Freeze Dried Strawberries – This is a game changer in my opinion. I love sprinkling freeze dried organic crushed strawberries on top after I drizzle a little bit of chocolate on top!
- Sea Salt – If you like the salty/sweet combo, adding sea salt flakes on top is delicious too!
How To Make Them
- In a medium mixing bowl, mix together all the ingredients for the protein bites until a dough consistency is formed.
- Roll into 9 1-inch sized brownie bites. Place them in the fridge to set, about 30 minutes.
- Top with melted chocolate & freeze dried strawberries if desired.
