This Cheesy Bacon Broccoli Skillet is a fun way to spice up your plain old broccoli. If you struggle with getting your veggies in this will be a game changer!! You won’t even realize how much you’ve eaten because it’s that good! You can use turkey bacon as a lighter option and omit the cheese if you are dairy free. I hope you give this recipe a try and love it as much as I do! Be sure to try my Goat Cheese Stuffed Mini Bell Peppers as well as another great side dish!

How To Make It

  1. Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté the garlic & onion until fragrant (about 3 minutes).
  2. Add in the broccoli & seasonings. Cook for about 5-6 minutes, stirring from time to time (you want to not stir too much so that the edges can crisp up).
  3. Once broccoli is cooked to your desired done-ness, add the cheese and bacon. Cook until slightly caramelized. Serve immediately & enjoy!

How To Store Leftovers

You can store your leftover broccoli in an air tight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. When you are ready to enjoy your leftovers, just pop them in the microwave for a minute or so.

My favorite food storage containers are by the brand Razab. I do giveaways with them and truly love their products so much. All of their containers are BPA free, oven safe, freezer safe, dishwasher save, and have steam release valves! You can find them on Amazon here.
