I made the viral date bark that is going around right now, except put a little twist on it by making it higher protein! These kind of remind me of my No Bake “Protein “Unstuffed” Date Squares. These are such a quick and easy sweet treat that taste like a candy bar! You only need 5 simple ingredients and you can even make these treats in bulk and store them in your freezer! There is no added sugar and you can customize the toppings in SO many ways.

What You Will Need
- 20 pitted medjoule dates
- 1/3 cup almond butter – I use the brand Prozis.
- 30g protein powder
- 1/4 cup sugar free dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp coconut oil
- 1/4 cup toppings of choice (I did hazelnuts, pistachios, and sea salt)

How To Make Them
- Line pitted dates on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. You can smash them down if you want with a cup.
- Mix the almond butter with the protein powder in a small bowl. Spread almond butter on top of the dates.
- Mix the coconut oil in with the chocolate chips and pour over the almond butter.
- Add toppings of choice. Place in freezer for about 20 minutes to firm up. Cut into pieces & enjoy! Store leftovers in fridge.
How To Store Them
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to a week. You can also freeze it for up to 6 months.
