What You Will Need
- Bread – I toast a homemade slice of sourdough to make my avocado toast.
- Butter – I love putting a small smear of grass-fed butter on the bottom later of the toast.
- Avocado – 1/2 of a large avocado per slice of bread.
- Hard Boiled Egg – 1 large, organic hard boiled egg.
- Parmesan Cheese – Freshly grated parmesan cheese to taste. Don’t get the pre-grated kind. It’s not the same!!
- Sea Salt – Fresh, large flaky sea salt pieces.
- Hot Sauce – A light drizzle of your favorite hot sauce.
How To Make It
- Simply toast your bread and lightly butter it with grass-fed butter (I use Kerrygold).
- Smash 1/2 of a large avocado avocado on top.
- Grate 1 large hard boiled egg on top of the avocado (texture game changer!).
- Grate some fresh Parmesan cheese to taste on top of that. And finally, add a drizzle of your favorite hot sauce and a pinch of sea salt. Enjoy!!
